Motion Picture based on Mark’s life story
Foxcatcher is a 5x Academy Award Nominated Major Motion Picture based on Mark’s life story where Mark is played by People Magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” Channing Tatum. It co-stars Steve Carrell and Mark Ruffalo and was produced by Annapurna Pictures.
I thought the actors did a great job. Many people like the movie and I’m glad they do. However, aside from Channing playing me, I don’t. The movie is disrespectful and most of it is inaccurate. The day the academy awards were announced I read a quote by the director in the Washington Times where he said “My intention from the beginning was to demean and disrespect Mark Schultz”. I have no idea why he’d do that after I tried my best to make him the best director he could be. That’s all I have to say about that.
